Yes, we seem to think that all dogs will eat anything, but that's simply not true, some dogs are finicky eaters-not the Black Lab-they're eaters extraordinaire. A Black Labrador dog will eat absolutely anything, so watch out. They are very easy to overfeed, but don't do it or you'll be sorry. Black Lab puppies are especially mischievous, so please keep a close watch on them as well, even closer than with a grown one.
If you've never had a puppy before be prepared for six to eight weeks of adjusting, shall we call it. The pup is going to adjust to you and you're going to have to adjust to the puppy or life just isn't going to flow smoothly. The key to getting a good overall deal on Black Lab puppies is to find a good licensed breeder and ask if they have any older pups, if they do the prices will be lower. If money is no object, then you'll get the pick of the litter, as they say.
